Guests should be able to paddle at an easy to medium pace for up to four hours, taking a mid-way rest and snack break. Depending on tides and weather conditions, we may travel up to six miles – or more! Ample time to explore Saratoga Passage.
As with the beginner tours, safety is paramount, regardless of ability levels. We use very stable double kayaks, a single-person kayak may be available to an experienced paddler – feel free to ask. Never paddled a double-kayak before? No worries! All tours begin with a comprehensive safety and technique discussion to ensure all paddlers feel safe and confident before we leave the beach.
Intermediate tours are designed for paddlers over the age of 12 with kayaking experience – or beginners up for a little bit of a challenge! They are the same difficulty level as our beginner tours, simply longer in duration.
Pricing: Intermediate tours begin at $99 per paddler for a four-hour minimum tour and increase based on any duration beyond that.
