I have been a professionally-trained sea kayak guide for almost ten years and I have paddled extensively throughout the Puget Sound region for nearly twenty.
My personal passion is long-haul, multi-day kayak camping trips, my longest was a three-week, 200-mile solo trip from one end of Puget Sound to the other. I literally grew up on the water in Washington State and have sailed over 25,000 miles throughout the Pacific – the equivalent of going around Earth!
I spent two years as a deckhand on a deep-ocean research vessel (NOAA), have raced sailboats, I have extensive paddling training … I have a deep and powerful respect for the sea – you’ll be very safe with me.
